BeraTone
BeraTone is the leading Web3 initiative on the upcoming BeraChain. It has successfully gone through multiple funding rounds and enjoys a large, active community as it progresses toward launch.
As the Chief Technical Advisor on BeraTone I was present during the founding of the company BeraTone Inc. I was brought on to setup guidelines and systems for the new company.
Moniker
A groundbreaking VR title for its use of gesture based movement on a fully simulated physical controller in a realistic open world.
As Lead Designer and Programmer, I maintained the creative vision of this project while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of what's technically possible on Meta's Quest.
The unique movement system I developed has been consistently praised by reviewers for empowering them to movie in intuitive and natural ways. Many first time VR users are surprised to find this is not yet an industry standard.
Midnight Cipher
A new type of online action game. A co-op shooter with an emphasis on roleplay instead of guns. Players jump from rooftop to rooftop as they avoid the police and return to their apartment after a long night of adventure.
I was responsible for the environmental and world design as well as the lead systems designer. It was up to me to implement or create all the tools required for the experience.
Blunder Jack
Based around an endlessly entertaining dismemberment mechanic. Players build and share levels full of traps to be carefully navigated -or not!
This short term project was built to quickly capitalize on an idea. I was brought onto the team after development had begun in order to maintain a concise gameplay loop and construct the two major mechanics: level building and dismemberment.
I'm Okay Today
Utilizing live action footage, my studio created one of the first VR experiences to blend mediums in a meaningful way.
Built for the original HTC Vive or Oculus Rift and made for Sundance, I'm Okay Today is like experiencing a movie from the inside out.
I created the concept, assembled a team, and even learned to film and direct for this passion project.
Hanai World
From the visionary mind of Guy Laliberte, the founder of Cirque du Soleil, Hanai World was positioned to be the metaverse from a different perspective.
I worked with the 3D volumetric video footage from the world-class performers, adding special effects and assembling the entire animated sequence for each act.
This video clip shows an interactive hologram used for an in person dining experience. The frogs which spawn at the end were interactable and had 3D printed edible counterparts.
Limitless Flight
A virtual reality wingsuit experience that brings the rush of flying to everyone. Using the latest tech from Unreal and aerial footage our team specifically focused on the mechanics and controls of your flight.
We released on time to rave reviews and Limitless Flight continues to operate successfully four years later.
